ATAC (Assistive Technology & Accessibility Centers) Accessibility guides make sure that everything in the course is accessible

PROCESS


1. Instructor requests eDS services


2. Principle works with instructor to discuss course needs


3. Principle assigns the project to the ID


4. Kick Off - Principle and IDs meet with instructor

ID RESPONSIBILITIES


5. Post Kick Off
 

Sends project milestones to instructor

Sets up recurring meetings and creates collaborative materials for the course


6. Course planning and design

Creates learning objectives

Plans activities - includes a check with the Learning Technologist to identify applications that would benefit the course

Plans assessments - includes a check with the Library if necessary

7. Video Materials

Review video procedures with instructor

Creates a channel for the course in Kaltura and shares with instructor

8. Graphic Designer

Builds course banners, modules, grids and Dashboard cards

9. Request Associate assistance if needed

10. Build Course

Builds shell

Uploads syllabus

Embeds course graphics

11. Perform a final accessibility check - Run UDOIT (ATAC)

12. Perform a link validation

13. Import Course

14. Launch Course

Publish instructor's desired course elements

Provide ongoing support post - launch as needed

15. Close Out

Send close-out email to faculty

Add final notes to the project

Add course maintenance guide to Box folder

Notify Principle to set course to Complete status
